¿A Quién Buscas Primero?” / “Who Do You Seek First?

When sickness strikes, we often run to medicine or doctors before we run to God. But Scripture reminds us that healing begins with faith and seeking Him first.

2 Chronicles 16:12

“In the thirty-ninth year of his reign, Asa was afflicted with a disease in his feet. Though his disease was severe, even in his illness, he did not seek the Lord, but only the physicians.”

En el año treinta y nueve de su reinado, Asa enfermó gravemente de los pies. Y aunque su enfermedad era grave, no buscó al Señor, sino a los médicos.

Este versículo sirve como un recordatorio aleccionador de que ignorar a Dios en medio del sufrimiento puede tener consecuencias tanto espirituales como físicas.

Sickness makes us desperate. But peace comes when we seek God first. Healing starts with faith.”
